Since opening in 2008, Liberty Arts has produced fifty shows. The variety of themes has encouraged a growing, diverse base of community engagement and participation from artists throughout California and beyond.

A listing of the recent 2016/2017 shows demonstrates the range of interest generated by our member-selected exhibitions:

  • Venice Beach featuring the work of internationally renowned artists Laddie John Dill & Charles Arnoldi
  • Full Steam Ahead ~ An Adventure in Fashion, Fiction & Fantasy ~ Open Call Exhibition.
  • Instant Love featuring the Instant Photography & Collage of Maureen Williams,
    Anne Holland, Tati S. Titch & Black Napkin.
  • After Dark takes the viewer on a photographic journey into the night featuring  the Siskiyou Shutterbugs group.
  • Alternate Paths featuring the work of Mike McCollum and Al Honig,
  • Goulash, Liberty Arts 9th Annual Members’ Show.
  • Silk and Wood featuring two Printmakers, Melinda Whipplesmith Plank and Pgyn Dynan.
  • Places to Go, People to Meet featuring abstract paintings by Carol Jenkins
    and Ellen Zucker.
  • With Respect to Nature featuring Paula Bailey Brent, Jill See and Sue Weil.

Liberty Arts brings the opportunity for exposure to new ideas and works to our community in Siskiyou County through free admission to the gallery, artists’ lectures and through social media outlets. Exhibitions typically run 5 weeks, opening with well-attended public receptions.
